Okiki

REVIEW 1:

"The school is spacious, clean and the kids have lots of toys to play with. I am however a bit concern with the communication among the foreign and local teachers, the school is new and they are still adapting. The principal does not speak English well and the written correspondence to parents is also in Chinese, this is sometimes not convenient for foreigners who don’t speak Chinese well like me."

REVIEW 2:

"It looks clean, nice. The kids look happy, and the teachers seem warm-hearted and cheerful too. My daughter’s class consists of 18 to 25 kids, 2 Chinese teachers and 1 English teacher from South Africa , and 1 nanny. They distribute detailed agenda, telling you what the kid has learned or played per day (very good agenda), what is the daily menu, and how each kid has enjoyed the meals and play time. But you can not directly call the teachers during the day and have to call a special line and leave a message. My daughter never said anything negative about Okiki and she seems happy and healthy. She learns a lot of English and Chinese as well.  I observe that she is relatively quiet in the kindergarten though, and the teachers all said that she is good-mannered and never causes any problem. Another thing: the male-female ratio is like 18 to 7, and the boys are dominating because they are more active. But I do not like kids being too much required to behave. Anyway, I like the cheerful atmosphere there."
